Who we are
Colrosa is Colrosa Studios Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16810244, at Carpenter House, Broad Quay, Bath, BA1 1UD. We are the data controller for everything described on this page.
What we collect
If you use the contact form we collect your name, your company, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give it, and whatever you write in the message field. That is everything the form asks for and everything it stores.
If you email us directly we hold that email and whatever is in it.
There is no analytics on this site. We do not measure what you read, how long you stay or where you came from.
Why we collect it
To reply to you, and if we end up working together, to run the project — proposals, invoices and the work itself.
Our lawful basis for enquiries is legitimate interest: you asked us something and we are answering. For clients it is performance of a contract. For invoices and tax records it is legal obligation.
We do not use your details for marketing unless you ask us to, and we do not sell them to anyone.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. Not for analytics, not for preferences, not to serve the pages. Nothing is written to your browser's storage either, which is why you have not been asked to agree to anything.
Who else sees it
Two services, and only two. Vercel hosts the site and keeps the ordinary server records any host keeps. Resend delivers the contact form to our inbox and sees whatever you typed into it. Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We do not pass your details to advertisers or data brokers.
Both are United States companies, so a message you send may be handled outside the UK. Both are contracted to us on terms that carry the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the European standard contractual clauses, which is the safeguard that transfer relies on.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become work: twelve months, then deleted. Client records: six years, because HMRC requires it. You can ask us to delete anything we are not legally obliged to keep.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict what we do with it, object to it, or have it sent to you in a portable format. Write to support@colrosa.com and we will answer within one month.
If you think we have handled your data badly you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather you told us first.
Changes to this page
If this policy changes we update the date at the top. We do not quietly rewrite it — where a change is material we will say what changed.
